Late afternoon in the Namib desert near Sesriem. There is one pixel of light in the lower center, possibly a vehicle hurrying home before dark.

Originally titled "Under African Skies" I started writing this while living in West Africa. After most of a couple years, I'm back home in California. So, I'll switch gears and discuss being home and figuring out just what the heck America is all about. I'll still check out the always interesting news from that other home and comment on that too.
